Alligators and Republicans

A&R is Colby Haggerty (Sub Mass, Action Cadillac), Keith Sansoni (The Hypes) and Kevin Hayes (The Hypes, LawlStorm). Colby and Keith each wrote three songs for this demo. This session was recorded in Hayes' basement with a Mac running Garage Band sitting at the top of the stairs. This plus a horrible mic leftover from The Hypes days (long thought to be broken) which was ran through a 15W Marshall amp make up for the poor quality of the recordings. Thanks to Joe Sawa for the amazing art work!

This Glue Is Non-Toxic

This band was pre Bomb Threat, Me and This Army and way before Very Magic was even a conceivable thought. The duo, Matt Simon (Bomb Threat and Very Magic) and John Snarr (Dirty Jersey), was together for maybe a year or so and primarily played at Le Coffee Salon in Hatboro before the owner was a dick and the shop went out of business. The first song they ever recorded was Long Way Home, and it was done on an old answering machine or tape recorder (ask Matt he might remember). This is one of two recording sessions (I don't know what happened to the other) done in Matt's basement some time in the 2005-06 time range??? Enjoy!
